Katy Poett

Katy Poett was brought up amidst animals, on a farm in Scotland. Whilst she is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh, she has had no formal art education. Although Katy has been strongly influenced by her experiences in Scotland her travels across Africa and Europe have and continue to play a large part in her work. Through working and experimenting with different mediums she hopes to translate movement and animus into simple, tactile and quirky sculptures.
